Shah Rukh Khan is not the only actor who will not be going to the IIFA Awards to be held in Bangkok next month. Another actor who will not be part of the ceremony is none other than Shahid Kapur. But of course, his reasons for not going to Bangkok, are different from SRK's.
As is common knowledge, Shahid has been signed on by director Vishal Bharadwaj for his next film, which is based on the story of Romeo and Juliet. The actor is believed to be working hard on his look for the film and does not want it to be revealed in public just yet. Hence, he will be skipping the IIFA function. The actor is currently trying to wrap up shooting for the major portions of his role in Ken Ghosh's next opposite Jiah Khan so that his look does not clash with what he has planned for Bharadwaj's film. The actor is believed to be working very hard for his role as Romeo and is trying his best to get into the skin of the character. Like other great actors before him, Shahid would prefer to spend more time with himself these days, as he prepares himself for the role.
