Synopsis :  
Deewane is a movie about a CID inspector whose only passion in life is work and to put criminals behind bar. He loves his childhood friend who too loves him. By a turn of some events, the officer goes into a coma and his duplicate takes his place at the request of the police commissioner. He romances with the girl. All hell breaks loose when the actual officer comes back to life from coma. How the misunderstandings are solved forms the rest of the movie.
