Jung is a action packed tense drama between an honest cop and a psychic criminal. Their roots of extreme confrontation arise when the cop is hell bent to save his kid's life, possible only with the affirmative approach of the real criminal, who proves a real hard nut to crack. Jackie Shroff is the cop living happily with his wife, Raveena Tandon and 7 years old son, until his son is daignosed for lukemia. Since his blood group is rare, the doctor advices Jackie to look out for a donor for the bone marrow transplant. When the doctor eventually finds a donor, he is a dreaded criminal, sentenced for life. He is Sanjay Dutt who is Jackie Shroff's enemy. Jackie Shroff objects to the dirty blood being transplanted in his son, but when he sees his son sinking, he agrees. Sanjay Dutt comes to the hospital, but at the last minute escapes. The comminssioner hands over the case to Aditya Pancholi and wants Sanjay Dutt dead. Sanjay Dutt wants to run away and cross the border and settle with Shilpa Shetty, his lover and his loyalist friend, Neeraj Vora. How Jackie Shroff traces him to and gets the transplant done, with Aditya Pancholi, another cop after his life, forms the rest of the story.
