FIRST LOOK: Farhan Akhtar’s Transformation Into A Bhojpuri Prisoner For Lucknow Central Is Unbelievable!

Farhan Akhtar, who is known for going all out to get into the skin of his characters, has done it once again for his next, Lucknow Central.

The actor today unveiled his look from the movie and left us awestruck. The suave star looks like a commoner in the image and is seen holding a slate for his mugshot. Clad in a hand-knitted jumper and with a tika on his forehead, the actor looks quite convincing as Bhojpuri prisoner Kishan Mohan Girotra.

Lucknow Central follows the story of a few jail inmates, who rekindle their love for music and form a band in prison with the help of an NGO worker, played by Diana Penty.

Directed by Ranjit Tiwari, the film is slated to release on September 15.
