Rajkumar Hirani’s recent release Sanju starring Ranbir Kapoor as controversial actor Sanjay Dutt may have won many hearts, but not everyone is pleased with it and we can now add jailed gangster Abu Salem’s name to the list.
We have heard that Salem has sent a legal notice to the makers of the film as he is miffed with a scene in which Ranbir confesses to possessing arms around the time of the 1993 communal riots in Mumbai. Salem's lawyer has cited that his client's involvement is implied in the scene and said that he never supplied Sanjay Dutt with any weapons. Salem has sought an apology from the makers and has also said that in case they don't apologize within 15 days of the notice, he would file a defamation case against them.
Wonder what the makers of the film will do now…
