Shah Rukh Khan Launches Red Chillies Idiot Box

With films like Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani, Chalte Chalte, Paheli and last year's one of the biggest grosser Om Shanti Om, Shah Rukh Khan has proved that he is one of the biggest producers in the industry. With films like Josh, Don, Chak De India, Om Shanti Om and more recently Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, he showed that he can be a singer too. With IPL last year, Shah Rukh not just showed how diverse he is but also showed his great entrepreneur skills. No wonder SRK is more popularly known as the King Khan of the industry as it's only the King who can rule everywhere. In 2009 King Khan to no surprise has done it once again. At this time of recession also Shah Rukh Khan took an initiative and came forward with his new production house Red Chillies Idiot Box. As the name explains, it is a Red Chillies Association which will be producing shows on the small screen aka the Idiot Box.

After hosting 3 shows on the small screen the King Khan is ready to produce his first television show, Ghar Ki Baat Hai. With entering the small screen SRK wishes to produce and direct shows more cinematically bringing more cinema quality to it as the directors and producers are from a film background. The show is a comedy flick and has been directed by Aziz Mirza and Anant. SRK says that this name is apt for their first show as the production direction team also consists of all family and friends like Samar Khan, Samir, Shelza, Aziz and Anant and so it makes it a 'Ghar Ki Baat' for all. Being a Red Chilli production it is expected that there will be many guest appearances from industry. The show will also have Juhi Babbar making her debut on the small screen. The show will be aired on weekends on NDTV Imagine. Well with SRK entering small screen as a producer we wish he lives up to his name and expectations.
