Akshay Kumar's Khel Khel Mein Collects Poor 5 Crore+ in the Third Week

Khel Khel Mein Third Week Box Office :

Akshay Kumar and Mudassar Aziz's modern comedy drama, Khel Khel Mein, collected a total of 5.50 crore nett in its third week. It was very much expected after the low numbers the film saw in the first two weeks. At best, it is looking to cross the 40 crore nett mark, which will be less than the remuneration of the cast—let alone production cost.

Khel Khel Mein had a super low first week number with 20 crore nett, despite holiday benefits and extended weekend. This very much sealed the fate of the film, but the film didn't crash completely the way its opponent Vedaa did. Both these films have turned out to be disasters and heavy loss-makers, whereas Stree 2  has become one of the biggest grossers and most profitable films in recent times. Was the clash really necessary?
