Akshay Kumar's Sky Force was scheduled to be released on October 2, 2024, but has been postponed to 2025. The film is expected to release on Republic Day weekend 2025, and the team is currently working at full speed in post-production. 

A source close to the development revealed to us that Sky Force is getting ready for the January 2025 release. The post-production of the film is currently under process, and the technical team is finalizing the edit. The VFX work is also taking time for the required modifications, as the makers want the final product to look great on the big screen. 

The source also added that the background score is getting ready and mixing is under process at the studio. Since the background score and sound design matter a lot to the overall narrative of this aerial action drama, directors Sandeep Kewlani and Abhishek Anil Kapur and thier team members are leaving no stone unturned to make sure that everything fits the place perfectly.

Once the edit is locked and the team is happy with the results, they will make a formal announcement of the release date. The announcement will most likely take place in October, depending on if the post-production goes as planned. Fans can expect the announcement next month and then get ready for the film in January 2025's last week, as this patriotic flick will arouse the public's interest in patriotism and one of India's major victories.
