Yash's Toxic Gets A Bollywood Name Akshay Oberoi On Board

Yash starrer pan-India flick Toxic went on floors last week. The film will star Yash, along with Kiara Advani, Huma Qurreshi, and Nayanthara, and is scheduled to be released in April 2025. Now, there is another Bollywood name joining the cast, and it's Akshay Oberoi.

Akshay was seen in the Bollywood flick Fighter this year, which did decent business at the box office. Now, the actor has joined the star-studded cast of Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown Ups, starring Yash in the lead role. This pan-India flick has commenced shooting, and Akshay has joined the cast already in Bangalore.

Akshay's involvement with the project was confirmed by the Toxic team with a welcoming picture on his social media account. Sources close to the actor have said that he has just begun shooting for Toxic and is enjoying it very much. However, the details of his role are kept under wraps now.

Akshay is currently in Bangalore to shoot one of the schedules for the film, and he will be back soon after finishing it. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film is set in the world of the drug mafia and will have a lot of violence that's only for grown-ups.

Meanwhile, Akshay Oberoi is currently busy with his next film, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, starring Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor, produced by Dharma Productions. This will be a grand family entertainer in Dharma style and will be released in April 2025, so Akshay might see two releases in the same month.
