Govinda denies Bhagam Bhag 2:
A few days ago, reports surfaced about the Bhagam Bhag trio, Akshay Kumar, Govinda, and Paresh Rawal, coming together for the sequel, Bhagam Bhag 2. However, it now appears that these reports were inaccurate, as one of the actors has denied them.
As reported a few weeks ago, the madness of Bhagam Bhag was set to return after 18 years. The film was in the final stages of writing and was slated to go on floors in mid-2025, as confirmed by the producers. The rights for the sequel were acquired from Shemaroo Entertainment by Sarita Ashwin Varde of Roaring River Productions, who confirmed that the sequel is indeed happening. Now, Govinda has denied those reports, stating that he hasn't been approached yet.
"Nobody has approached me for Bhagam Bhag 2 or sat down for a discussion. There are stories of me doing not just Bhagam Bhag 2 but many other sequels, including Partner,” said Govinda while reacting to the news about returning for the sequel of a comedy film with Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal during an interaction with Mid-Day.
"Bhagam Bhag 2 will be madder, crazier & funnier," confirms producer
Earlier, confirming Bhagam Bhag 2, producer Sarita Varde mentioned that this sequel is special and will be funnier than the previous part. “Because a special film like Bhagam Bhag deserves a sequel that’s just as special; when the time was right, we decided to take the plunge."
