Chhaava Teaser: Is That Akshaye Khanna As Aurangzeb?

The first teaser for Chhaava, a historical epic action drama featuring Vicky Kaushal in the lead role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and Akshaye Khanna as the villain, Aurangzeb, is out now. Watch it below:

The teaser sees Vicky Kaushal in a never seen before avatar, and he is looking good in the role of legendary Maratha warrior Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. However, it's Aurangzeb's look that has caught our attention.

Many media reports have confirmed that Bollywood actor Akshaye Khanna is playing the role of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb in Chhaava. 

As far as the teaser goes, this is the only glimpse of Aurangzeb's character in the entire promo. With a zoomed-in look and voice, it seems that Akshaye Khanna has done a brilliant job. But is it really Akshaye Khanna? It seems so. This has certainly raised curiosity.

Chhaava is based on the life of a brave Maratha warrior, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, and will explore the struggle and pain he had to go through for Swarajya after the demise of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

Directed by Laxman Utekar, Chhaava stars Vicky Kaushal, Rashmika Mandanna, and Akshay Khanna in the lead roles. Produced by Maddock Films, the historical drama is slated for release on December 6, 2024, and will face a clash with one of the biggest films of the year, Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil.
