Dharmaveer 2 Box Office: Takes The Biggest Marathi Opening Of 2024

Dharmaveer 2 Box Office Day 1 :

Marathi movie Dharmaveer 2 was released all over yesterday, and the film has taken a good opening at the box office. The biographical drama shattered the biggest opening record of 2024 in the Marathi industry. It has surpassed the previous biggest opening of Navra Maza Navsacha 2.

Dharmaveer 2 collected approx. Rs. 1.90 crore nett on the first day, overtaking the previous biggest opening of Rs. 1.80 crore nett by Navra Maza Navsacha 2. It can be called a good phase for Marathi cinema as we finally have two back-to-back good openings this year after waiting for almost 9 months.

Dharmaveer (2022) had taken the opening of Rs. 2 crore nett, and the sequel has fallen a little short to figure. The first part collected Rs. 9 crore, approx., in the opening weekend, so it will be interesting to see how far the second part can reach in the weekend since there are two competitors—Navra Maza Navsacha 2 in Marathi and Devara Hindi dubbed in Hindi markets. 

Directed by Pravin Tarde, Dharmaveer 2 stars Prasad Oak, Kshitij Date, Makarand Date, Snehal Tarde, Makarand Padhye, and others. The film is based on the life of Late. Anand Dighe, who is also known as Dharmaveer, and Hon. CM of Maharashtra, Mr. Eknath Shinde, who worked under Dighe and worshipped him for years.
