The Malayalam thriller Drishyam has been hailed as one of the greatest thrillers ever made in Indian cinema. It had a sequel called Drishyam 2, and it has been remade in multiple languages. Now, Drishyam 3 is coming, and fans are desperately waiting for it.
Malayalam filmmaker Jeethu Joseph confirmed that the climax for Drishyam 3 is ready. However, the director-writer is confused about the rest of the narrative.
Speaking about the scripting process of the much-awaited Drishyam 3, Jeethu Joseph shared, "I am blank right now. When I made 'Drishyam' in 2013, I did not have a plan for a sequel. It took me five years to zero in on an idea. I had problems in one particular area in the film."
"Similarly, I am stuck in cracking a certain area in 'Drishyam 3'. I know how to end the movie, but I'm clueless about other areas," he added while speaking to News FM.
Joseph has also narrated the idea of Climax to Mohanlal, and he liked it. The filmmaker said, "The climax of 'Drishyam 3' is already in my head. I narrated it to Mohanlal sir, and he liked it as well. But I want to crack that one area."
Jeethu Joseph's Drishyam starred Mohanlal, Meena, Asha Sarath, Ansiba Hassan, Esther Anil, and Siddique, while the Hindi remake of this classic thriller saw Ajay Devgn and Shriya Saran in the lead roles, along with Ishita Dutta and Mrunal Jadhav.
It is also reported that the Malayalam and Hindi versions of Drishyam 3 will be shot and released at the same time. Stay Tuned to Movie Talkies for more updates.
