Vampires of Vijayanagar shoot begins in October 2024:

Get ready for the next chapter in Maddock Films' horror universe! After the humongous success of Stree 2, the production is all set to begin work on the next two films of the cinematic universe, Vampires of Vijaynagar and Bhediya 2.

In the end credit scene of Stree 2, Varun's character makes it clear that the next film is set in Delhi, where the blood sucking vampires have created havoc. It's Vampires of Vijaynagar, starring Aayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna.

As per a report in Mid-Day, the team is set to begin the filming in October in Delhi, and the film will connect the history of Vijaynagar with modern Delhi.

"The first schedule will kick off with a night shift. The production team will design a set reflecting a north Indian town. Ayushmann will be shown as an adventure-loving, sports enthusiast, while Rashmika has a layered role. She will also sport a distinct look in the film. Their look tests will take place in the first week of September," a source told the portal.

Director Aditya Sarpotdar, who directed the previous super hit Munjya (2024), has got the same team on board for Vampires of Vijaynagar. "Production designers Subrata Chakraborty and Amit Ray, DoP Saurabh Goswami, costume designer Sheetal Sharma, and writer Niren Bhatt are part of the team. Having written Bhediya (2022), Munjya (2024), and Stree 2 (2024), Niren Bhatt knows exactly how to connect each story, and has written a convincing backstory for Vampires of Vijaynagar," confirmed the source.
