Rishab Shetty is on cloud nine as he won the National Award for his stunning performance in the pan-India flick Kantara. The Kannada star is delighted about this win and has shared his reaction to it, thanking the audience and dedicating his award to the people.
Reacting to the national award win, Rishab Shetty said, "I am truly overwhelmed by the honour of this national award for 'Kantara.' I extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has been part of this journey, the incredible team of artists, technicians, and especially Hombale Films."
He went on to thank the audience for making the film such a hit and taking it across languages all over the nation. "The audiences have made this film what it is, and their support fills me with a deep sense of responsibility," he added.
Rishab further said, "I am committed to working even harder to bring an even better film to our viewers. With the utmost respect, I dedicate this award to our Kannada audience, the Daiva Nartakas, and Appu sir. He also thanked the divine powers, saying, "I thank the divine, as we have reached this moment through the blessings of the Daivas."
Meanwhile, the shooting for the next part of Kantara, Kantara Chapter 1, a prequel, has begun, as the film is looking to hit cinemas soon.
