This powerful teaser trailer begins with Alia showing her acting finesse in a conversation scene with that silently killing background score. It's not a usual small teaser, as Jigra dares to break the usual format and goes for a long-cut teaser, providing enough content for audiences. The teaser then takes you to her, aka Satya's, never-seen-before avatar that has action and intensity both. As she says, "Ab toh Bachchan hi Banna hai," you get the hint that it's time for some bad-asss action!

The promo also explores the siblings bond between Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina's characters. "Ek Hazaaron me meri behna" is a heart-melting melody forever, and the way it explores the relationship of this brother-sister's duo is something that directly hits the hearts. In the ending scene, there is an awkward silence when Vedang wants to hug his sister, and after a moment, they do! It's a complete emotional meltdown moment. This one surely makes it to our must-watch list, and the teaser has definitely raised everyone's expectations.

Directed by Vasan Bala, Jigra is produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Alia Bhatt, Shaheen Bhatt, and Somen Mishra. Presented by Dharma Productions, Eternal Sunshine Productions, and Viacom 18 Studios, the film will be released in cinemas on October 11, 2024.
