One of the finest filmmakers of Bollywood, Karan Johar, is all set to make his OTT debut with a highly anticipated web series. Yes, you heard it right. Karan Johar is set to enter the OTT space with a mega-budget project that will have all his trademarks, be it grand scale, a star-studded ensemble of celebrated female actors, and the KJO touch.

Known for his blockbuster films like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, My Name Is Khan, Student of The Year and Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Karan Johar will helm this untitled series for Netflix. As per sources, the script has been finalized, and production is scheduled to begin in early 2025. Johar is excited to join the OTT space and is leaving no stone unturned to make this one a huge project.

"The web series now begins its casting stage, and the idea is to bring together an ensemble of renowned actors. Being a Karan Johar show, the web series is considered to be Netflix's most ambitious upcoming project. It will be shot throughout 2025 and is set to stream in 2026," informs a source close to development.

After the web series, Karan Johar plans to return to the big screen. He recently dropped hints about one of his next projects on his social media handle. Meanwhile, we can confirm that Johar will be back on the silver screen with a grand action film that will be an out-and-out mass entertainer.
