Khel Khel Mein Day 2 Box Office: Akshay Kumar's 3rd Disaster in 2024

Khel Khel Mein Box Office Update: 

Akshay Kumar's Khel Khel Mein is struggling big time at the box office. Clashing with Stree 2 was not a good idea in the first place, but now the numbers show that it was a worse decision.

Khel Khel Mein collected a poor 5.75 crore nett on day one, which was a national holiday. The film couldn't even fetch 3 lacs footfalls on the big national holiday, which tells the entire story. The comic caper has come down to 2 crore nett on the second day—a working day—and this has very much sealed the fate of the film.

The two-day total of Mudassar Aziz's comedy is around 7.75 crore nett, which is even lower than the paid previews of Stree 2 (8.50 crore nett) that came on half the number of screens. The film is a washout overseas, which was very expected.

Akshay Kumar had two back-to-back disasters this year with Bade Miyan Chote Miyan on Eid 2024 (April) and Sarfira in July 2024. Now, Khel Khel Mein will be his third consecutive disaster in 2024 and that too in the span of 5 months.
