Popular Haryanvi singer Sapna Choudhary found herself in another legal soup. The singer and performer has already been through many legal complaints and even surrendered herself once, a couple of years ago.

Now, she has found herself in even bigger legal trouble. The Delhi Tis Hazari court has issued a non-bailable warrant against Sapna Chaudhary, which means she cannot escape the court procedures with any excuses now.

The case dates back to 2021, when Pawan Chawla filed an FIR against the singer. The Chief Judicial Magistrate, Rashmi Gupta (CJM), issued a non-bailable warrant (NBW) against Sapna after she failed to appear in court.

The CJM stated, "A last day of hearing exemption was sought on behalf of the accused. Even today, the accused has failed to appear before the court despite calls made to her. Let NBW be issued against the accused, returnable for the next day of hearing (NDOH)."

Pawan Chawla has accused Sapna of financial cheating. As per the charge sheet, Sapna Choudhary took money from the complainant under false pretext and did not keep her word on the promises. The charge sheet was filed by the Economic Offense Wing (EOW) on the FIR filed by Chawla.

The next hearing will take place on October 25, 2024, and the court has strictly ordered the Desi singer to appear on the given date.
