Stree 2 Has The 5th Biggest First Week Total Ever; See List

Stree 2 Box Office update:

Stree 2 has done fantastic business in the first week and has set some records for mid-budget films. Stree 2 is all set to emerge as one of the biggest blockbusters ever in recent times, considering the size of the film, the cast, and the returns on investment.

Stree 2 has a massive first-week collection despite a regular drop in numbers on weekdays that came after an extended weekend boosted by holidays. Last year, Gadar 2 collected 281 crore nett in the first week, and this year, we have Stree 2 scoring almost similar numbers. Don't forget that these two films did this huge business in clash, including Animal, whereas Top 2, Jawan, and Pathaan had solo releases.

Amar Kaushik's horror comedy blockbuster has scored the 5th biggest first week total ever in Bollywood. The other four films either have a big budget or a big cast, while Stree 2 has a much lower budget. Shah Rukh Khan has the top two films with Pathaan and Jawan, while Ranbir Kapoor's Animal, which clashed with Sam Bahadur, stands in third place. Sunny Deol's mega blockbuster Gadar 2 grabbed the fourth spot despite a clash with OMG 2 on the last independence day weekend.
