Stree 2 Has TERRIFIC Hold on Day 2; The FIRST BLOCKBUSTER of the Year

Stree 2 box office update:

Stree 2 has seen a terrific hold at the box office on the second day. The film set the box office on fire on day one, which was the national holiday, but it definitely overperformed and smashed all the previous projections.

Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao's Stree 2 recorded the highest ever paid preview numbers in Bollywood history with 8.75 crore nett on Wednesday. Then, it scored the biggest opening day for any Bollywood film in 2024 on Thursday with 53 crore+ nett. The cumulative total by the end of the first day was a huge 61–62 crore nett.

The second-day numbers for this Amar Kaushik's horror comedy are in the range of 31-32 crore nett, which is a superb hold as the film was coming after a big holiday. The two-day total for the film stands at approx. 95 crore nett, and it will hit the 100 crore nett mark today and quite possibly make it 150 crore nett as well. The 200 crore nett weekend is very much in the range now.

Given the budget and economics the film has and the kind of box office trend it is seeing, we can say that Stree 2 has emerged as the FIRST BLOCKBUSTER of 2024. It can go above that—Super Blockbuster or All Time Blockbuster—you never know. The least is a BLOCKBUSTER tag, and it's confirmed. Content is speaking, and nobody can stop it now.
