Stree 2 Has The Highest Third Friday Ever For Any Bollywood Movie

Stree 2 box office - Record Third Friday:

Stree 2 is in no mood to slow down. The horror comedy scored the biggest second week collections of all time for any Bollywood film, surpassing the previous best of Gadar 2, which collected 133 crore nett last year (on a similar weekend). Now, Amar Kaushik's directorial has smashed the third Friday records as well.

The Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starrer collected aporox. 9 crore nett on its third Friday, which is the highest total for any Bollywood movie on the third Friday. SS Rajamouli's pan-India blockbuster Bahubali 2 (Hindi) still holds a record of 10 crore+ figures on Third Friday. However, Stree 2 has surpassed all Bollywood movies despite being a mid-budget film.

Last year, Gadar 2 and Jawan both collected approx. 7 crore nett on the third Friday, and then Animal surpassed the total by a small margin. Animal went on to collect 7.50-7.75 crore nett on the third Friday, and now Stree 2 has beaten those numbers by a good margin of over 1 crore. With this pace, Stree 2 is certain to score the biggest third weekend total and the biggest third week total in Bollywood.
