Stree 2, directed by Amar Kaushik, turned out to be a blockbuster success at the box office and is still going strong. The film has done business worth over 420 crore at the global box office and is set for a long run in the coming days. 

Shraddha Kapoor plays a female lead, a mysterious character who has no name, but Stree 2 had us in surprise when we learnt that she was the daughter of Stree. Rajkummar Rao, who plays the male lead, is in love with Shraddha's character. There is a lot of debate about the screen time of Shraddha's character, but the director believes that it is important for the script and the value of her character. 

Director Amar Kaushik recently spoke about how Stree is the story of a woman surrounded by a male-dominated society. In his latest interview with Mid-Day, Amar Kaushik said, "Stree 2 doesn't want to protest; it wants to feed your critical thinking. Stree is surrounded by men, but it is her story."

Stree 2 has become the highest grossing film of the year as well as the highest grossing film of Shraddha Kapoor's career. As per the latest reports, Shraddha's character is likely to get a standalone film, as confirmed by the writer Niren Bhatt. On the other hand, Kaushik has already hinted at the third part of Stree.
