Taapsee Pannu celebrates 8 years of one of her most notable films, Pink, today. Directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, the film starred Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role along with Kirti Kulhari, Andrea Tariang, Vijay Varma, Angad Bedi, Tushar Pandey, Dhritiman Chatterjee, Piyush Mishra, and Mamata Shankar.

Taapsee played a woman who, along with her girlfriends, has been molested, and they go to court to seek justice against the powerful people. The film highlighted topics like women's safety, security, and consent. Although it has been 8 years since the film's release, Taapsee believes that we are still struggling with issues like women's safety and their consent.

On 8 years of Pink, actress Taapsee Pannu acknowledged the current situation of women's safety in the country while revisiting the film's theme. Amidst the ongoing matter of the Kolkata Case and several other rape such cases in India, Taapsee made strong comments against the same that reflect on the hard-hitting subject of Pink.
