Nick Powell to work on Border 2:

Border 2 is set to begin! The war action drama, featuring a stellar trio of Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, and Diljit Dosanjh, will begin filming in November 2024. The team will kick off shooting in Jammu and Kashmir as it features an army setup from the upper north of India. As per the latest report in midday, the team has brought Nick Powell on board.

Hollywood action flick The Bourne Identity's action choreographer, Nick Powell, will be designing the war action sequences for the Sunny Deol starrer. Powell has also worked on a popular Hollywood flick called The Mummy (1999), and then Rajamouli took him for the Indian epic action drama RRR (2022).

"The team has finalized two locations in Jammu and Kashmir but is keeping it under wraps till the Indian Army gives its final approval for the shoot. These are sensitive regions, and the army will inform the unit where they can begin filming. Sunny, Diljit, and Varun will kick off the shoot with a massive action sequence involving artillery and guns. The set pieces are designed by action director Nick Powell, who previously worked on RRR [2022], The Last Samurai [2003], The Bourne Identity [2002], and The Mummy [1999]. After the first leg in Jammu & Kashmir, the unit will shoot in Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh in January 2025," a source told mid-day.
