Kareena Kapoor's second release this year, The Buckingham Murders, couldn't spring its magic on day one. The crime drama has opened to low response all over, and most of its business was eaten by Sohum Shah's Tumbbad (2018), which was re-released yesterday.

The Buckingham Murders didn't have any buzz going on around it, and the mass appeal was also missing. The urban-centric crime thriller couldn't even gather enough momentum in urban centers, whereas mass centers have seen washout results on the first day. The film collected approx. 1-1.05 crore nett on its opening day, and it seems like a tough journey ahead with this kind of start.
