Shah Rukh Khan, the King Khan, is the highest tax payer among all the celebrities in India in 2024. As per the list released by Fortune India, the Pathaan actor has left all Indian celebrities behind in tax amount.

SRK has paid a whopping amount of Rs. 92 crore to income tax in 2024 for the financial year of 2023-2024. The superstar made a glorious comeback to the movies in 2023 with Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki. Pathaan, produced by YRF, went on to gross over Rs. 1000 crore at the worldwide box office, while Jawan, produced by Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment, went even higher with Rs. 1100 crores+ in all languages. The next in his kitty was Dunki, which grossed over 400 crore at the worldwide ticket windows, and Shah Rukh Khan became a rare Indian actor to contribute a cumulative gross of Rs. 2500 crore worldwide in a calendar year.

The second on the list is south superstar Thalapathy Vijay, who is set to retire from movies and joint politics. The GOAT star paid Rs. 80 crore tax, grabbing the second spot in the list. The next on the list is superstar Salman Khan, who paid Rs. 75 crore, followed by Big B Amitabh Bachchan, who paid Rs. 71 crore.
