Crakk Review - Vidyut Jammwal Stuns You With His Unbelievable Stunts

Crakk Review: Everybody is a crack at some thing. We are all crack at some things. Aditya Datt just took this fact and made a film about it by going fully crakk with his action extravaganza. You don't need brain to watch this movie, but you need an eye to see what's happening on the screen. Actually, this film should have come with a warning, saying, "Don't blink, or else you'll miss a stunt or two." Hell yeah, it's that high on stunts and action. Crakk surpasses all the action-driven and stunt-driven films we have been through and sets a new benchmark in Bollywood. Extreme sports hasn't been introduced to Bollywood, except for Luck (2009), which was more about luck than the breathtaking and adventurous game. Aditya Datt too took on the challenge and delivered a cracking action mania for action lovers.publive-imageSidhu (Vidyut Jammwal) is a stunt master in his area and dreams of joining the international competition at Maidaan. Previously, his brother, Nihal (Ankit Mohan), participated in the same competition and lost his life during the final stunt. Dev (Arjun Rampal) is the king of Maidaan, but he also has a secret agenda behind this game. Sidhu is selected as the only participant from India and becomes the crowd's favourite in the first chapter, "Race 1." With his daredevil stunts, he literally takes over the game. He meets a sexy influencer called Aliaa (Nora Fatehi), and as expected, they begin a romance. While the game is getting bigger and bigger, Poland's officer, Patricia Novak (Amy Jackson), is after Dev and his syndicate to stop them from committing a crime. During her investigation, she finds Sidhu to be her stool pigeon. Sidhu tries to play for both sides but is left all alone and disturbed by the mystery around his brother's death. What has it got to do with Dev and his syndicate? Will Sidhu be able to win the competition and beat Dev? Find out all the answers in the movie.publive-imageCrakk is high on breathtaking action and stunning visuals. Audiences will be blown away by the car chase sequence, the races at the Maidaan, the skating chase scene, the top of the building bike stunts, and finally Vidyut biking over the bridge. Let's call him Tom Cruise of India. Anybody opposing? No. Crakk can be called India’s first-ever extreme sports action film, as no other filmmaker has been able to look at this challenging subject. What's more surprising is that a total of 8 real international stunt athletes are part of the movie, and that's why the action looks mind-blowing. Crakk takes action stunts in Indian cinema to another level, and there is no denial to it. The entire setup of Maidaan and the face-off between Arjun and Vidyut have come up nicely on the screens. There are a few hiccups in the drama, but that's okay. Forgivable. The face-off gets even better and hotter in the climax when Vidyut and Arjun go shirtless and girls are like, Haaye Garmi! Jo Jeetega Wahi Jiyega has to be the punchline of the year since we haven't heard anything like this for years.publive-imageVidyut Jammwal has proved again that he is the biggest action star in Bollywood. After Crakk, he is in a different league altogether. There is no competition at all. Marvel Studios has Daredevil coming next year, but we have ours right here. And this one's got humour too, along with tapori language that the masses and youth audiences can relate to. His chemistry with Nora is hot. In the first scene, he puts his arms around her right after a blink-and-miss stunt—let me tell you, what a sexy scene it is. Nora, as always, looks smokin' hot, and she also gets her first ever full-fledged action scene too. Ankit Mohan is fantastic in all scenes. The brotherhood bond between Ankit and Vidyut gives an emotional boost to the film. Arjun Rampal makes a perfect villain, while Amy Jackson struggles with her Hindi accent.publive-imageCrakk is a long film, but not boring at all. It keeps you hooked and amazes you with some insanely powerful stunts. The cinematography and visuals look fine. All those "Race" scenes are breathtaking and eye-pleasing, while ears find their satisfaction in a solid background score. Aditya Datt has given us films like Aashiq Banaya Aapne, Table No. 21, and Commando 3, each one in a different genre and different zone, and now he gives us another different action flick, Crakk. Kudos to his versatility and how he manages to bring irregular stories to mainstream entertainers. Crakk proves that Datt has a lot of potential in larger-than-life action movies, and he will keep getting better in the future. Overall, Crakk is a complete crazy experience, a mayhem for action and stunt lovers. If you are one of them, then don't miss this one.
