A Fistful Of Dollars Remake

A Fistful Of Dollars, directed by Sergio Leone, is one of the greatest Western classics in world cinema. Starring Clint Eastwood in the lead role, the film was a benchmark in Clint's career and is still known as one of his greatest films ever.A fistful of dollarsNow, six decades later, the spaghetti western classic is getting a remake. As per a report in Deadline, the remake comes from Euro Gang Entertainment, the company founded by Hollywood vet Gianni Nunnari (300) and Simon Horsman (Magazine Dreams), alongside Italian production vet Enzo Sisti (Ripley) of FPC, and Rome-based Jolly Film, which produced the original movie. The details of the cast and language are not known yet.

A Fistful of Dollars is itself a remake of the master Akira Kurosawa's Japanese classic, Yojimbo (1961). It was the first film in Leone's Dollars Trilogy, which was followed by two more classics, For a Few Dollars More (1965) and The Good the Bad and the Ugly (1966), both starring Clint Eastwood.
