Aamir Khan Celebrates Kiran Rao's Birthday In Assam

Aamir Khan is presently in Assam along with his family and friends to celebrate his wife Kiran Rao's 40th birthday. Kiran, who marked her directorial debut with Dhobi Ghat, turned 40 on November 7.

Filmmaker Karan Johar, director Ayan Mukerji and music composer Salim too are in Assam with the Khan daan and the group is staying at a private resort inside Nameri National park in Sonitpur district. Aamir was also seen spending some quality time with his son Azad in the resort's garden.

Aamir, who landed in Assam in his Dhoom 3 avatar(bowler cap et all ), was received with the traditional Assamese Gamosa (scarf) by the Sonitpur district administration officials amidst tight security at the airport. His fans too gathered in huge numbers to give a warm welcome to their favourite actor.

Buzz also has it that Aamir has come to Assam to shoot for one of the episodes of the second season of his popular chat show Satyamev Jayate.
