Raksha Bandhan, directed by Aanand L Rai and starring Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar, was released on 11th August 2022. The film focused on the brothers' and sisters' relationship and also gave a social message on the Dowry system.Raksha Bandhan clashed with Aamir Khan's Laal Singh Chaddha at the box office, and unfortunately, both films couldn't do well.
