Aasif Sheikh about Salman Khan geting caught:

Aasif Sheikh and Salman Khan have been friends for a long time and have worked together in many movies over the years. During the shoot of Bandhan (1998), they were caught by a traffic cop for driving a car rashly, the actor revealed during a recent media interaction with Lallantop.

"We were shooting for Bandhan, and both of us were quite young and enthusiastic at that time. I remember he once made me sit next to him in his Esteem car and drove rashly all over the place—on the footpath, on the roads," shared Aasif.

He continued, "I warned him that we would get caught. But he said, 'Pakde jayenge toh yaar Salman Khan hai, ghabrao mat!' And we did get caught eventually. A traffic cop pulled us over, and Salman rolled down the car window, thinking the cop would spare him. But the cop actually did not recognize him!"

Aasif then jokingly suggested Salman to remove his shirt and show his body so that the cop would recognize him. Eventually, Salman got involved in a famous drunk and drive case in 2002, which continued for years. In 2015, the court acquitted the Sikandar actor, and he finally sighed with relief.
