Om Raut's magnum opus Adipurush had a good opening weekend in India and worldwide, but stayed behind Pathaan's historic numbers. The Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan, and Kriti Sanon starrer has crossed 100 crore nett in Hindi and 87 crore in other languages in the first three days at the domestic box office.
Adipurush has performed poorly in overseas markets, with a weekend total of around $5 million. The worldwide gross is 276 crore, which is a decent total for the film. The film had a bigger opening day than Shah Rukh Khan, John Abraham, and Deepika Padukone's Pathaan, but eventually failed to beat its opening weekend. Pathaan, being a Hindi film, had a huge weekend of 331 crore, and Adipurush is more than 50 crore behind despite releasing on a larger number of screens.
