"Ajay Devgn hasn't spoken to me for 18 years since we made Cash" – Director Anubhav Sinha

Anubhav Sinha directed Ajay Devgn in Cash (2007), which also starred Suniel Shetty, Esha Deol, Riteish Deshmukh, Zayed Khan, Shamita Shetty, and Dia Mirza. Ajay has not worked with Sinha since, and it has been 18 years since that film was made without Ajay even speaking to the filmmaker. Isn't that shocking?

During a recent conversation with Lallantop, Anubhav Sinha made this surprising revelation. He stated that Ajay doesn't speak to him and that it has been 18 years. He also revealed that there is no concrete reason known to him since they never really had any conflicts.

"We have never fought. He just doesn’t speak to me, and I have no idea why. Since the making of Cash, we haven’t even met, so I can’t say he ignored me or something. Maybe it’s just me overthinking. However, I did text him a couple of times and never received a response, so I told myself that maybe it slipped his mind or he must have missed my message. But, it’s been about 18 years since we have spoken," Anubhav Sinha told the channel.

Despite this, the Thappad maker hasn't stopped admiring Devgn for his acting and friendly nature. "Ajay was among my favorite actors. I loved him both as an actor and an individual. He is fun to be with. He is like ‘yaaro ka yaar.’ Ajay is always the first one to be there for a friend in need," he concluded.
