Ajay Devgn's Maidaan To Now Have A Dussehra Release

Ajay Devgn's upcoming sports drama Maidaan, which was earlier supposed to release during the 2021 Independence Day weekend, will now have a Dussehra release next year.

The film will now hit the screens on October 15 and Ajay Devgn announced the new release date with a new poster, which features him along with the rest of his team in the background. Along with the poster, he wrote, "'Maidaan’ now releases worldwide in theatres on Dussehra 2021. Shoot commences January 2021.

The movie, which tells the story of golden years of Indian football i.e from 1952 to 1962, will mark the Bollywood debut of National Award-winning actress Keerthy Suresh. The period drama, which is inspired by a true story, is being directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma.
