Marathi Actor Ajinkya Deo Confirms Playing Vishwamitra in Ramayana; Shares A Pic With Ranbir Kapoor From Sets

Ajinkya Deo will be seen playing the role of Vishwamitra in Nitesh Tiwari's upcoming magnum opus, Ramayana.

The media reports have already confirmed the news, but today, the actor himself confirmed the news by sharing a picture with Ranbir Kapoor from the sets.

With the picture, he shared, "So now for the clarification on this photo doing Ramayan with RK playing a stellar role of Vishwamitra, so once again a reason to celebrate 🙏"

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Ramayana is currently being filmed in Mumbai. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Yash, Lara Dutta, Arun Govil, and Ajinkya Deo, amongst others. The film is expected to be released in 2026.
