Before the news of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan receiving death threats gets old, we have another celebrity getting a similar threat. This time it's an actress, and she is from a different cinema industry.

Popular Bhojpuri actress Akshara Singh, who also participated in the Hindi show Bigg Boss OTT, has received a death threat from an unknown caller. The caller gave her a deadline of 2 days and demanded Rs. 50 lacs to spare her life, say media reports. A police complaint has been filed by the actress at Danapur police station, and the investigation is on.

In her complaint, Akshara Singh explained to the police about the threat call. As per her statement, she received two calls from different numbers on November 11, Monday around 12.20 p.m. She was first abused and then threatened over the call, and the caller told her to pay Rs. 50 lacs within two days, or else it will be her life.

The officer in charge, Mr. Prashant Kumar Bhardwaj, spoke to the media about this incident and said that they are investing and taking the matter on an immediate basis. The officer stated, “Akshara Singh has filed a complaint regarding the death threat and ransom demand. The matter is being investigated, and the person who made the call will soon be in police custody.”
