The makers of Mission Raniganj have independently submitted the film to the Oscars.Based on a true story, Mission Raniganj is a heroic tale of Jaswant Gill, who saved the lives of the 71 coal miners. Produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, and Ajay Kapoor, the film, directed by Tinu Suresh Desai.
