Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan's Horror-Comedy To Go On Floors in October 2024

Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan is one of the most successful actor-director combos in Bollywood. They have had box office success, but more than that, they made comedies that are being loved by generations. Now, the duo is set to collaborate again.

Superstar Akshay Kumar and director Priyadarshan will be collaborating on a horror comedy, which will be produced by Ekta Kapoor. The director confirmed that it is not a remake or sequel of any film, and they will take the film on floors in October 2024.

Speaking to Etimes, Priyadarshan shared, "My film with Akshay is not a remake. It is an original idea. The script is not mine; it was given to me by Ekta (Kapoor, producer). It is not Bhool Bhulaiyaa, but it will be a horror comedy in the fantasy horror zone, as horror can never be real. I would even call Bhool Bhulaiyaa a psychological thriller with humour. So, this one is not a sequel to any movie. We are going on floors in October."
