Comedy King Akshay Kumar To Shoot For Welcome 3 This Month, Followed By Housefull 5 in June

Akshay Kumar is all set to get back to the comedy zone with back-to-back franchise movies. Kumar, who is currently busy with Bade Miyan Chote Miyan promotions and Sky Force shoot, will soon dive into the Welcome 3 shoot by the end of this month.

Akshay Kumar and the entire team of Welcome 3 (Welcome to the Jungle) are set to begin the second schedule for this grand comedy flick in March 2024. The superstar will have another big-budget comedy, Housefull 5, right after finishing this.

"A massive set is being built. A large number of scenes will be canned in the Sea Princess Hotel from later this month to early next month. Things also depend on set construction. It’s going to be a chock-a-block schedule until the monsoons. After which, Akshay will move to the shoot of Housefull 5," a source close to the development told the Mid-day

Directed by Ahmed Khan, Welcome 3 stars an ensemble cast of Akshay Kumar, Disha Patani, Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Raveena Tandon, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sanjay Dutt, Rajpal Yadav, Kiku Sharda, Daler Mehndi, Mika Singh, Rahul Dev, Mukesh Tiwari, Sharib Hashmi, Zakir Hussain, Yashpal Sharma, and more. The multistarrer comedy will hit cinemas on Christmas 2024.
