Amol Kolhe, a popular Marathi actor and politician who gained fame from the popular Marathi series Raja Shivchhatrapati, has registered another victory on the political battle field.

He was running for the Loksabha Elections 2024 from the Shirur constitution in Maharashtra for the National Congress Party (NCP, Sharad Pawar) and has emerged victorious yet again.

This is the second time he has won the MP seat from this constituency, though the earlier win came with another party. This time, he was up against the same competitor, Shivajirao Patil of NCP (Ajit Pawar), and gained a lead of over 1 lakh votes. The vote count for Dr. Kolhe was about 5 lacs 10 thousand, whereas Mr. Patil was lying behind with 4 lacs 5 thousand votes.
