Filmmaker Anil Sharma, who will be teaming up with Sunny Deol for Singh Saab The Great, recently opened up about his motives behind making the film, which is a social drama.
Talking about the film and his reasons for making it, Sharma said, “After making Veer, I was thinking about what kind of project to pick up next. I observed that since the past 3-4 years, there is a lot of concern about the way things are going on in this country and everyone is fighting corruption in his or her own way. I thought about this and decided that since I am a filmmaker, I should contribute in my own way to society through a film and that is how the idea for this film came up.”
Singh Saab The Great is co-produced by Kushal Kantilal Gada, Dhaval Jayantilal Gada and Reshmaa Kadakia, directed by Anil Sharma and presented by Jayantilal Gada (PEN). Sangeeta Ahir from Alumbra Entertainment and Media Pvt Ltd and Anuj Sharma, Shantketan Entertainment are producing the film.
Apart from Sunny Deol, Singh Saab The Great also stars Urvashi Rautela, Amrita Rao, Prakash Raj, Anjali Abrol and Johnny Lever in pivotal roles.
