Delhi High Court Summons T-Series and Netflix India Iin Animal OTT Release Block Case Filed By Cine1 Studios

Animal's Box success hasn't gone well for the producers, it seems. Cine1 Studios filed a suit against T-Series for breach of contract and credit issues and demanded a stay on the OTT release of the film, which is reportedly scheduled for January 26th on Netflix India.

On Thursday, the Delhi High Court issued summons to T-Series and Netflix India and asked them to file their plea within the given time. "Along with the written statement(s), defendants shall also file an affidavit(s) of admission or denial of the documents of the plaintiff, without which the written statement(s) shall not be taken on record," said Justice Sanjeev Narula.

Cine1 Studios, aka plaintiff, has got permission to file a replication(s) within 15 days of receipt of the written statement(s). The matter has been listed for further submissions on January 22, 2024, and then the judge will hear both sides.
