Kacha Badam Girl and Influencer Anjali Arora To Play Maa Sita In "Shri Ramayan Katha"

Anjali Arora became a sensation on the internet with the video song Kacha Badam. She is often seen making reels on Instagram and has a good number of followers too. After getting enough engagement on her Instagram profile, she is now set to make her mark on the silver screen, and that too with the big role of Maa Sita.

While Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi, is currently being shot, there is another adaptation of the Ramayana in the making.Abhishek Singh will be directing another version of the Ramayana titled Shri Ramayan Katha. Kacha Badam girl and influencer Anjali Arora will be seen playing the role of Maa Sita in this version.

Confirming the same, Anjali told ETimes, "I feel blessed to have been offered the part. The character of Goddess Sita is so sacred that no one can refuse it. Curious about why the director chose me, I asked him, and he said he had shortlisted a few actresses, including me. I believe they saw something in me that convinced them I could do justice to the character. I was finalised last month, and since then, I have been watching videos, doing readings, and attending workshops. I will do my best to do justice to the character."
