Aquaman and the lost KingdomAquaman And The Lost Kingdom, the last film in DCEU, is not getting an overwhelming goodbye. The sequel to the 2018 box office hit has performed lower than the earliest projections made by trade.

Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom put up a below-average total of around $28 million over the weekend and is expected to touch $40 million over the extended holiday weekend. Aquaman 2 was earlier projected to earn over $45-50 million, but the actuals are coming in lower.publive-imageAquaman 2 has avoided an unwanted record, though. The final movie in DCEU scored the second-lowest opening weekend amongst all DC Universe films. The film missed Blue Beetle's $25 million record for the lowest opening. Will DC have a crying finale?
