AR Rahman reacts to divorce with Saira
Indian music composer AR Rahman and his wife, Saira, have decided to get a divorce. They got married in 1995 and have three children: Khatija, Raheema, and Ameena. Yesterday, Saira's lawyer, Vandana Shah, shared an official statement with the media about the divorce, stating that there have been indifferences between the two. Today, Rahman made it official through his Twitter handle:

AR Rahman shared:

The hashtag used by Rahman has become a subject of discussion over the internet. People are trolling the musician for using such a hashtag while reacting to sad news, but does that really matter?
Earlier, Saira's statement said that there had been tension and indifference between them that led them to take this tough decision.
"After many years of marriage, Mrs. Saira has made the difficult decision to separate from her husband, Mr. AR Rahman. This decision comes after significant emotional strain in their relationship. Despite their deep love for each other, the couple has found that the tensions and difficulties have created an insurmountable gap between them, one that neither party feels able to bridge at this time. Mrs. Saira emphasized that she has taken this decision out of pain and agony. She requests privacy and understanding from the public during this challenging time, as she navigates this difficult chapter in her life."
