Article 370Article 370 is doing well at the Indian box office, but things are not looking good for its overseas run. The political thriller, which is set to become a Hit in India, finds itself banned in Gulf countries. This development marks the second film this year to face such censorship in the region.

Last month, Hrithik Roshan's Fighter faced a ban in Gulf countries due to its Kashmir and Pulwama-related content. The same happened to Article 370, which is based on the removal of Article 370, a special article that kept Jammu and Kashmir away from a proper Indian state status for almost 7 decades.

On the other hand, Article 370 is doing decent business in foreign countries like Australia, New Zealand, the UK, the USA, and Canada. However, the numbers in the Gulf usually come higher for Bollywood movies, and Articles 370 will miss it.publive-imageAt the box office, Article 370 has crossed 21 crore nett in the opening weekend and will comfortably cross the 30 crore mark in the first week. This has turned out to be the first surprise HIT as well as the first clean HIT from Bollywood in 2024, while Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya may become another one in the long run.
