"I've Got Ideas For Avatar 6 and Avatar 7," James Cameron Hints At The Future Of Avatar Franchise

James Cameron's pandora story, Avatar (2009), conquered the box office on earth and isn't dethroned yet. The sequel, Avatar: The Way of Water (2022), smashed the $2 billion club, proving the director's and the franchise's fan-following across the globe.

The next chapter in Cameron's Avatar franchise will be unveiled on Christmas 2025, followed by two more tentative sequels. It's not just Avatar 3, Avatar 4, and Avatar 5, but the visionary film-maker also has plans for Avatar 6 and Avatar 7.

During a recent conversion with People Magazine, James Cameron revealed, "We're fully written through movie five, and I've got ideas for six and seven, although I'll probably be handing the baton on at that point. I mean, mortality catches up. But I mean, we're enjoying what we're doing. We're loving it. We get to work with great people."
