The combined box office gross of these two movies made a staggering $511 million debut at the global box office.Domestically, Barbie earned $155 million in the opening weekend, while Oppenheimer clicked in $80.5 million. Barbie registered the biggest domestic debut of the year, surpassing Super Mario, whereas Oppenheimer scored the biggest opening weekend for an original film by Nolan.Internationally, Barbie crossed $182 million in total for a global total of approx. $337 million. Nolan's Oppenheimer managed to outscore domestic numbers in the international markets, owing to Nolan's popularity, as the film made approximately $93.7 million overseas.
