It's a sad day for Hollywood royalty: Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are splitting up after a decade of marriage.
The couple confirmed the end of their marriage with a statement on Tuesday, just a day after celebrating their 10th anniversary.
Reportedly, the couple issued a joint statement in which they declared their decision to divorce. The couple also expressed that they were parting amicably and plan to move on with love and friendship for one another. They informed that they were committed to co-parenting their children and requested that the children's privacy be maintained during the difficult time.
The two are parents to three kids: Violet, 9, Seraphina, 6, and Samuel, 3.
The couple often enjoyed family time together at home in Los Angeles where they were frequently spotted on carpool, coffee and after-school activity outings with their brood.
But their marriage was also the subject of scrutiny over the years.
The two first met as co-stars on the the set of 2001's Pearl Harbor, then reconnected making their 2003 film Daredevil and started dating soon afterward.
We at MovieTalkies wish Ben and Jennifer all the very best for their future.
